Taking place at Silverstone race circuit the car was built and then raffled off at the end of the weekend! See images of the build below...

The car was purchased at the end of 2005 from triple Mini Miglia champion Andy Hack. The car having had a number of owners over its 6 year life had seen very little race action, and consequently was in great condtion.
A deal was soon done and the car was on its way to its new home in Essex.

At the end of 2007 the decision was made to upgrade Tristens car from S class spec to full Mini Se7en specification. As opposed to simply changing the power unit from 1293cc to the fully modified 1000cc, the decision was made to improve all aspects of the cars construction.
This included;
New roll cage tubing to strengthen the shellNew seat frameNew steering coulumnNew gear change assemblyNew subframeNew in boot anti roll barNew dog box (gearbox)GPS data logging and digital dash display
